Sin that Doesn't Lead to Death?
I was reading in 1 John when I came across this verse.
This verse puzzled me in all honesty. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23) Obviously, the result of sin and leading a sinful life is death. I realize that God's word is without error, and so I was wondering what you, the reader, thought this verse was talking about and anything else that could help understand this verse. 16If anyone sees his brother commit a sin that does not lead to death, he should pray and God will give him life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that he should pray about that. 17All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death. (1 John 5)
