"For he who is least among you all--he is the greatest." (Luke 9:48)
"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men."

Matthew 5:13
I have many friends that claim to be Christians. Some know the Bible inside out, while others only know that Jonah was swallowed by a big fish. Yet somehow they have compromised there beliefs [or lack of] and have taken to following the ways of this world. How can some one as a Christian be "salt" to this world if they have lost their "saltiness." God does not want someone who has lost flavor. Salt has a taste of its own, unlike anything else. When combined with other substances it preserves them from corruption; it imparts a portion of its taste to everything it is mixed with. It is useful so long as it preserves its savour, but no longer. We as Christians are unlike anything else, we stop people from dying eternally by spreading the message of eternal life, and [just like salt] once we stop living for the Lord Jesus Christ we to will lose are usefulness.
Think on this. Good night.
